Direct Admission is Open for Economics Honours and B.A. / B.Sc. General according to the marks of University Norms.

NB : All SC/ST/PH Candidates are eligible to get admission forms according to University and Government Norms. Seats are also reserved according to University and Government Rules.

University Norms

For General Students
A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination OR, 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

For SC/ST Students
Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe Community taking up Honours Course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be.

Girls students will not be admitted in B Sc (Pure & Bio) General Courses in the Morning Section. They are eligible to take admission in Day Section as per norms.

Head of the Departments and Teachers of the respective subjects will be available for counseling during the issue of the Admission Forms on the scheduled dates.

The students may choose any one of the following as honours subject :

• History
• Philosophy
• Political Science
• Journalism and Mass Communication

Along with the Honours subjects the student has to select any two subjects from Group I, Group II and Group III as optional paper (general). Subjects should be chosen from different groups.

Note :
Geography (Group II) and Economics (Group III) cannot be taken simultaneously.
No Science subjects viz. Geography (Group II) and Economics (Group III) will be allowed along with Human Development (Group I).

B.Sc. General :
Any one from the following list can be chosen :

• GROUP A : Maths, Physics, Chemistry / Electronics.
• GROUP B : Maths, Physics, Computer Science.
• GROUP C : Maths, Statistics, Economics.
• GROUP D : Botany, Zoology, Chemistry / Molecular Biology.

Along with the Honours subjects the student has to select any two subjects from Group I, Group II and Group III as optional paper (general). Subjects should be chosen from different groups.

B.Sc. Honours :
A student has to select three subjects taking one from each of the following groups :

Change of Subject / Course :
Change of subject is allowed only within the stipulated peroid as laid down by the University.

• Step 1 :(Register)
  If you are new to this system then please Click here to register. Here you have to fill up a form with personal information like Name, Address etc. and your 10+2 marks detail. After successfull registration you can apply for courses that matches your profile. Bank receipts are generated after application, it is highly recomended to take Print of the receipt or save it in your Computer. You can login to the system in future to take print of Bank receipts also.
• Step 2 : (Apply)
  After registration you can search Courses matching your Profile. Same course may be offered by different Colleges. The criteria varies from one college to other and will be displayed along with courses. Apply for those courses for which you are eligible. There is no limit of applications - you have to just pay the fees.
• Step 3 : (Deposit Fees)
  After application you must deposit the fees to the Bank branches of your choice. Please read the Notices/Policies of Colleges to get the Bank branches.
• Step 4 : (Merit List)
  Merit list will be published here, so check back at a later date. You can check whether your name is in the merit list by entering Student ID.
